New Grants Application and Criteria
Board approves new form for grants
The CBN-PG Board has approved a new application for schools seeking CBN-PG grants. It can be downloaded here. Click here for a summary of grants awarded over the past ten years. The criteria for grants are as follows:

  • Applicants are required to be members of our organization.**
  • Beginning January 1, 2008, requests must be submitted in writing on the CBN-PG Grant Request Form.
  • Grant requests will be accepted for academic supplies, religious education items, student/teacher resources, tuition assistance (not for an individual, but rather for the discretionary use of the Principal/Pastor), and/or other student-centered needs.  The CBN-PG Grant Review Panel has the sole discretion to decide the appropriateness of the request.
  • Grant requests will not be accepted for Capital Campaigns or operating expenses.

**Membership in CBN-PG is FREE to all Catholic Schools in the County.  The only requirement for membership is the submission of a membership form.  Religious education programs may also submit a membership form at no cost.

Grant requests will be acknowledged in writing upon receipt.  Grants are reviewed on a quarterly basis and subsequently awarded. A School or organization receiving a grant at a monthly CBN-PG Networking breakfast will be notified in advance.

If a school should experience an emergency or immediate need, the CBN-PG Board may review this request prior to the next scheduled meeting of the Grant Review Committee.

Any questions or concerns can be addressed with the Chairperson of the CBN-PG Committee on Grants or the Board President.
