Directions to Woodmore
Country Club:
Click here for an interactive map. Once inside the club gates,
proceed on Pleasant Prospect approximately .1 mile, then turn left
into the parking area for the clubhouse. Once through the main doors
there will be a registration table.
From Suburban Maryland: Capital
Beltway towards Upper Marlboro/Landover, to Exit #17A (Landover
Road/East on Route 202), turn left at the second light onto Lottsford
Road, proceed 2 miles to the entrance of Woodmore (on your left
just after you cross the intersection of Enterprise Road/Route 193),
turn left onto Pleasant Prospect at the guard house entrance to
Woodmore. The Club entrance is located 9/10th of a mile on your
left.
From The District of Columbia:
New York Ave. East, bear right at split with Baltimore-Washington
Parkway onto Route 50 (John Hanson Hwy.), South on the Capital Beltway
to Exit #17A (Landover Road/East on Route 202), turn left at the
second light onto Lottsford Road, proceed 2 miles to the entrance
of Woodmore (on your left just after cross the intersection of Enterprise
Road/Route 193), turn left onto Pleasant Prospect at the guard house
entrance to Woodmore. The Club entrance is located 9/10th of a mile
on your left.
From Annapolis: Either / Route
50 (John Hanson Hwy.) west to Route 197 South, right on Mitchellville
Road, Right on Mt. Oak, Left on Church Road with an immediate Right
onto Woodmore Road. Proceed past first entrance of Woodmore, past
the school to the second Woodmore entrance on your right with a
guard house. Turn right onto Pleasant Prospect at the guard house.
The Club entrance is located 9/10th of a mile on your left. -OR-
from Route 50, take Route 301 south to Route 214 (Central Avenue),
Right on Route 214 past Six Flags to Route 193, Right on Route 193
then right at the first light (Woodmore/Lottsford Roads), Left at
the entrance to Woodmore, Club is located 9/10th of a mile past
the guard house on your left.
From Virginia: Capital Beltway
over the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, to Exit #17A (Landover Road/East
on Route 202), turn left at the second light onto Lottsford Road,
proceed 2 miles to the entrance of Woodmore (on your left just after
cross the intersection of Enterprise Road), turn left onto Pleasant
Prospect at the guard house entrance to Woodmore. The Club entrance

Plan to join us on our new meeting date, the THIRD Friday of the month, as we welcome Thelma King Thiel, CEO of Hepatitis Foundation International, who will provide a lively, informative presentation on hepatitis, with a special focus on preventing its spread in our schools and businesses.
Hepatitis is a very contagious desease and one about which little is known. Many are infected and don't know it. To get a better idea of the issue, you can watch an interview with Thelma.
We hope that you can attend and bring a potential new member.
